While everyone is waiting for the competition season to start again, there's some good news from France. Horse races can take place again, but only behind closed doors.
Horseraces were prohibited since the 17th of March but now they can take place again starting from May 11th. The health of the riders and their entourage stays the most important thing: no public will be allowed so all social distance measures can be followed. The races will be filmed and broadcasted so spectators can watch the races from home. Strict rules have to be follow; a rider can only be accompanied by one groom and a trainer to keep the people present at the races to a bare minimum.
Germany already announced the same measures. They expect horse racing can take place again starting from the 4th of May.
