In Samorin it was USA's female show jumping rider, Jessica Springsteen who speeded to victory in the 1.45m Longines Rankinng class. Springsteen won aboard her 10-year-old Volage du Val Henry.

It was a ride against the time. Springsteen and her 10-year-old Quidam de Revel-mare, Volage du Val Henry managed to set the faultless record time in 61.24 seconds. With only 0.05 seconds difference Germany's Marcel Marschall settled for the runner-up position aboard his Carentan-daughter, Crystal.
After a clear round in 62.45 seconds, Dutch show jumping rider, Gerco Schröder completed the stage with his trusted Glock's Zaranza. The pair was followed by Italy's Alberto Zorzi and Vauban du Trio (Neroso).
