Italy's Alberto Zorzi was the first to start in the Jump-Off. Aboard the 11-year-old Cortez Van 't Klein Asdonk Z (breeder: Eddy Thomas) Zorzi crossed the finish faultless in 42.15 seconds.
In the end, France's Julien Anquetin and Blood Diamond Du Pont (breeder: Matthieu Le Connetable) was just no five seconds faster. Anquetin and the son by Diamant de Semilly were over half a second faster as Spain's Jesus Garmendia Echevarria and Callias (Companiero).
Germany's Christian Ahlmann completed the stage with the Belgian-bred gelding, Mandato van de Neerheide (Emerald, breeder: Eric Van Giel).
The pair was followed by Italy's Lorenzo de Luca and the 13-year-old KWPN-gelding, F One Usa (Toulon). Also faultless, Sweden's Evelina Tovek completed the top five aboard Azaria Dinero (Mylord Carthago).
