Epaillard and the 12-year-old Queeletta (Quality) set the record time claiming the Longines Ranking points. Germany's Daniel Deusser and Kiana van het Herdershof (Toulon) settled a runner up with only 0.2 seconds difference.

For the home crowd it was European Champion and new World number one rider, Martin Fuchs completed the stage with Chicha B Z (Canturano).

The pair was followed by Denis Lynch aboard GC Chopin's Bushi (Contendro II) in fourth and Douglas Lindelow with Cheldon (Chacco-Blue) in fifth.
