Lucia Le Jeune Vizzini's Cabalgaro Z sold to Mexico

The gelding Cabalgaro Z (Calvados Z x Caucalis) has been sold on the advice of Yuri Mansur and starts the long journey to Mexico. 11-year old Cabalgaro Z was ridden by Lucia Vizzini Le Jeune, the Italian rider, and had ranked in many Grand Prix and major events at the highest level.

"There's always been a lot of interest in Cabalgaro but since we were lucky enough to have two very high-level horses with Filou de Muze, we decided to keep them. Unfortunately the situation has changed with the disappearance of Filou de Muze, and our youngest horses are only 7 years old. So it seemed more appropriate to accept to sell him on, and train a new generation, rather than competing with only one horse when we have twenty at the stables. Last year we embarked on a new partnership with Willy van Himpe of van't Schuttershof Stables and we’ve got involved with several horses. They’re still a bit green at the moment, but they seem to have a lot of potential. So the story is far from over", explained Philippe Le Jeune to Studforlife.
