McLain Ward has yet again showed his form aboard the 15-year-old HH Azur. In Old Salem's 1.55 - 1.60m Grand Prix the USA rider speeded to victory with the Belgian-bred mare out of Thunder vd Zuuthoeve.
Together with the 15-year-old sBs-mare, McLain was second but last to start and in the end, referred Katherine Dinan with KWPN-gelding Brego R'N B (Namelus R) to the second spot.
The stage was completed by Canada's Mario Deslauriers and Uris de la Roque (Capital).
The pair was followed by Jordan Coyle with Centriko Volo and Alish Cunniffe with Vivaldi du Theil in a fourth and fifth place.
