A busy international just concluded in Vejer de la Frontera with one of the highlights of the entire tour: the CSI4* Grand Prix. Fifty combinations entered this 1m60m Grand Prix and twelve of them managed to get through the first round without jumping or time faults. A denouement with twelve combinations therefore had to be decisive. In that jump-off, it was Irishman Michael Pender who emerged victorious. Saddled with HHS Calais (by Cavalier Royale), he was able to record a fast, clear round behind his name. The duo clocked off in 36.84 seconds, a time that could not be matched by any other combination.
Duarte Seabra came closest with Dourados (by Diarado). The duo left the wood untouched and stopped the chrono after 37.08 seconds. Kara Chad and Igor PGPH (by Harley) completed the podium after a clear round in 37.67 seconds.
Aurelien Leroy took home fourth place with Vendomme d'Ick (by Arko III). This combination left all the bars in the scoops and finished in 37.71 seconds. Niamh McEvoy and Olivia de Muze N (by El Torreo de Muze) completed the top five after a clear round in 41.67 seconds.
