In Italy's CSI2* Ornago Grand Prix it was Switzerland's Pius Schwizer who jumped to victory. Only five combinations produced a double clear. Schwizer claimed victory aboard Balou Rubin R (Balou du Rouet) after a clear finish in 37.51 seconds.
With over two seconds difference, Christoph Obernauer followed as a runner-up with Kleons Cocario (Carrico). The stage was completed by Thomas Mang aboard Arko Junior (Arko III).
France's Melanie Cloarec placed fourth with her new Fais Toi Belle du Seigneur (Baltic Sitte). Before the mare was competed by Belgium's Jérome Guery. The top five was completed by Audrey Geiser aboard Holiday X.
