The pair was just one tenth of a second faster as local rider, Olivier Perreau - who already jumped into victory earlier this week. Perreau settled as runner-up aboard the 13-year-old sBs-mare GL Events Dolce Deceuninck, referring compatriot Edward Levy to the third spot.

Levy completed the stage with the son of Calisco du Pitray, Sirius Black. With almost four seconds difference it was Dutch Olympic rider, Harrie Smolders who followed in a fourth place. Smolders placed with Jennifer Gates' Une de l'Othain, while Belgium's Niels Bruynseels completed the top five aboard the 11-year-old Diornella-D.

Only the top seven riders managed to produce a clear round within the time allowed.
