The 1.60m Longines Masters Grand Prix in Paris seemed to be an exciting and difficult class. Not only the time allowed but also the technical set-up were a big obstacle for most combinations. Eventually it was Simon Delestre who speeded to victory as last rider at the start.
QUICK RESULTS
1. Simon Delestre - Hermes Ryan
2. Kevin STaut - For Joy van't Zorgvliet
3. Roger Yves Bos - Sangria du Coty
Only six combinations qualified for the Jump-Off in the CSI5* Grand Prix. As last rider at the start it was Simon Delestre who guided his 14-year-old Hermes Ryan (Hugo Gemeray) to the 99.000 euro victory.
The pair was only a fraction faster as compatriot Kevin Staut aboard the 14-year-old Belgian Warmblood-gelding, For Joy van't Zorgvliet (For Pleasure). Roger-Yves Bost completed the stage with the 13-year-old SF-mare, Sangria du Coty (Quaprice Bois Margot).
The pair was followed by Darragh Kenny with the 9-year-old Colestus-son, Classic Dream while Felicie Bertrand completed the top five aboard Sultana Des Ibis (Quidam de Revel).
