Split Rock Jumping Tour’s Fort Worth International CSI4*-W Canceled for 2020

Lexington, KY –August 14, 2020–The Split Rock Jumping Tour's new Fort Worth International CSI4*-W has been canceled for 2020. One of eight events in the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Series' North American League (NAL), the Fort Worth International CSI4*-W will return with a full schedule in 2021.

“We made every effort to find a way to hold the event this year in a way that would be safe for everyone,” said Split Rock Jumping Tour (SRJT) Founder and CEO Derek Braun. “We have held numerous discussions with the FEI and the USEF but unfortunately, hosting an event of this caliber indoors under the current circumstances presents too many challenges. After investigating every possibility, we came to the realization that it really makes the most sense to postpone our plans till next year when we will be able to put this event on in the spectacular way we have planned.”

Now in its sixth year, the SRJT has been revolutionizing the way the sport of show jumping is presented in the U.S. and has been creating a truly "unparalleled show jumping experience" for competitors, sponsors and spectators alike. Competing in the SRJT is unlike any other American horse show experience. SRJT competitions offer top prize money, extravagant awards, and numerous first-class amenities not typically found at any other horse show.

“I want to thank Erin Davis-Heineking for all her efforts and her strong belief in the way we produce Split Rock events,” added Braun. “Her support is incredible and I look forward to working with her next year in producing what I know will be one of the greatest horse shows this country has ever seen!”
