Six combinations qualified for the Jump-Off in the 1.60m World Cup in Bordeaux, France. Eventually five combinations set a double clear in which Steve Guerdat set the unbeatable time.
Steve Guerdat was the first to start in this Jump-Off. Aboard the 11-year-old KWPN-mare, Is-Minka (Mylord Carthago, breeder: G. J. Kappert) the Swiss rider set the unbeatable time of 40,34 seconds. Also not the last rider, Pieter Devos managed to beat this record time.
Eventually Guerdat was over one second faster as France's Jeanne Sadran and Dexter de Kerglenn (Mylord Carthago). The pair was followed by Great-Britain's Harry Charles. Charles already won Friday's main class and now completed the stage with the BWP-stallion, Sherlock (Bisquet Balou C vd Mispelaere).
Belgium's Pieter Devos followed in a fourth place with the 9-year-old mare, Casual DV Z (Cornet Obolensky). In front of the home crowd, Roger-Yves Bost and Ballerine du Vilpion (Baloubet du Rouet) completed the top five!
