Steve Guerdat closes the year as best rider of the world

The FEI has announced its new Longines Ranking list, the last one of the year. It is again Switzerland's Steve Guerdat who is on top.

There's no change in this month's top four. Steve Guerdat is again followed by European Champion, Martin Fuchs and Germany's Daniel Deusser. Fourth is Great-Britain's Ben Maher.

Peder Fredricson and Belgium's Pieter Devos switch places, leaving the GCL Best Rider of the year, Pieter Devos in a fifth place. Newcomer in the top ten is Henrik von Eckermann who leaves his 12th place behind for the tenth spot.

In the top 50 it are Eric Lamaze and Luciana Diniz who made the most impressive jump forward. Lamaze moves from his 61st place to spot 38, while Portugals Luciana Diniz trades in her 67th place for place 45.
