Luca Marziani's stallion, Tokyo du Soleil (Montender) is sold to Japan. The 21-year-old Mike Kawai was able to spend some million's on the horse. Kawai trains an lives in with Peter Charles in Great-Britain.
Together with Marziani, Tokyo placed 18th at the last European Games in Rotterdam and also placed fourth at the LGCT leg in Rome. Earlier the pair competed at the World Equestrian Games in Tryon as well as the Gothenborg.
With his new rider, the aim is to compete at the Olympic Games in Tokyo... Tokyo must go to Tokyo 2020.
