In Arezzo, a busy international weekend just ended with the 1m50 Grand Prix. In this class with jump-off, 42 combinations competed and were presented with a very tough basic course: only five combinations managed to get through the first round without jumping or time faults. A jump-off with five therefore had to be conclusive.
Victory came in Irish hands: British rider Jessica Burke, with Express Trend (by Future Trend), was the only one to keep the clear in the jump-off. She also did so in the fastest time so the win was more than deserved! The duo left the wood untouched and clocked off in 39.38 seconds. Italian Massiomo Grossato followed in second place. He counted on Tinkabelle RS (by Tinka's Boy) to jump to the finish in 39.51 seconds but tapped one bar out of the scoops in the process. Kristaps Neretnieks and Palladium Kjv (by Lancer III) completed the top three. They also had one jumping fault behind their name and finished in 39.92 seconds.
Giacomo Casadei (Let's Go FZ) and Marcus Westergren (Hurry Up G) completed the top five.
