Yesterday it became known that also in Ocala a horse was infected with rhino. However, according to the authorities it is not the neurological variant and there is no link with the competition in Valencia. The competition organization reports that no horses have tested positive at the World Equestrian Center and that the competition will continue as planned. They do recommend additional precautions.
"We blijven de situatie uiteraard nauwlettend volgen. Om problemen tijdens het concours te voorkomen, raden we iedereen aanwezig wel aan om een verhoogd hygiëneprotocol te volgen", klinkt het bij het World Equestrian Center.
