This month Great-Britain's Olympic rider, Nick Skelton, will bring back his top horse, Big Star (by Quickstar) in the arena. The pair will compete at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, USA. The Dutch-bred stallion was supposed to make his comeback last year. However his tendon injury forced the stallion to rest and rehabilitate. Since the Summer of 2014, Big Star has competed only once at the Vilamoura Tour in October 2015. Now Skelton is planning to get his show jumping phenomenon back in shape to prepare for the upcoming 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. In 2012 Big Star rode to the Olympic Gold Team Medal for Great-Britain in London.
