The 11-year-old sire, Firth of Lorne (by For Pleasure) has been sold to the USA. In the future it will be Leah DeMartini - trained by Margie Goldstein Engels - who will be competing the horse. Under the saddle of Germany's Katrin Eckermann Firth of Lorne jumped together many international successes. In May 2014 the pair won the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix in Hamburg. Two months later they were a part of the winning team at the FEI Nations Cup in Falsterbo, Sweden. Having a disaster year, Eckermann is now separated from the stallion. The show jumper fell from her horse in Aachen and got involved in a car accident. Earlier this year Firth of Lorne was already ridden by Eckermann's compatriot, Frans-Josef Dahlmann.
