Laura Graves and Ward McLain receive Steinkraus Trophy

Both Laura Graves and Ward Mclain have been awarded the William C. Steinkraus Trophy by the U.S. Equestrian Federation to honor an equestrian competing in the Olympic discipline of dressage and show jumping. Laura of Plymouth, Florida received the award for the first time for achievements in 2015 on her Verdades that included her first U.S. Grand Prix Championships, Pan American Games team gold and individual silver medals and performing in her first World Cup Final. The award was also presented to McLain Ward, the jumper rider of Brewster, New York, for the second time. His achievements in 2015 included his first championship individual gold medal that he won at the Pan Ams along with team bronze and a string of victories at major events in North America and Europe.
