Small cheers were heard in camp USA today as the FEI ranking for showjumping got updated. Whilst Daniel Deusser remains the number one in the world it are Kent Farrington and  Mclain Ward that jump up one place to rank just behind the leader. Deusser holds his position firmly with 3076 ranking points. But Farrington and Ward are closing in wth 2950 and 2940 total points. Deussers fellow countryman Christian Ahlmann dropped down two spots. The German rider from Zangersheide now lays in fourth with 2916 ranking points. French rider Simone Delestre defended his top 5 spot. He is still fifth ahead of Kevin Staut who has to watch a closing in Eric Lamaze. Lamaze jumped from eigth position to the seventh surpassing  Marcuss Ehing in the ranking. The German rider is now on eight position ahead of Brit Scott Brash and French leading lady Penelope Leprevost who complete the ranking top 10. Go here to see the full ranking
