Carl Hester received the British Equestrian Writers Association Lifetime Achievement Award

British dressage rider Carl Hester received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the British Equestrian Writers Association (BEWA). 

Every year the BEWA awards its riders with the BEWA Trophy and the BEWA Lifetime Achievement award. The latter was won by British dressage rider Carl Hester. On social media Hester says: 

"What a complete surprise to be awarded by the British Equestrian Writers Association with a lifetime achievement award. I feel very honoured and hope to deliver more great stories next year that gives them something interesting to write about."
