The 16-year-old stallion Chacco Blue II (by Chacco-Blue) will not compete in the World Cup final in Omaha, United States. The news was announced via social media.
"It is with great sadness that we must announce that we have been forced to withdraw Chacco Blue II from the World Cup Finals in Omaha" reads the message on social media.
A hoof abscess shattered the aim for the World Cup Final for the already 16-year-old stallion and his rider, Brazilian Santiago Lambre. "With the well-being of the horse as our first priority, we have decided to withdraw, despite the successul preparation"
