In Aachen, the VBR-Prize was just held over a height of 1.45m. The victory was for Bertram Alles with FTS Killossery Konfusion (Siec Livello).
With a time of 32.88 seconds he gave the competition the slip. Brazilian Bernardo Alves was good for second place with Mosito van het Hellehof (Elvis Ter Putte) and a time of 33.31 seconds. In third place was Laurent Goffinet with Absolut de Lacke (Diamant de Semilly) and 33.41 seconds. The top five was completed by Scott Brash with Hello Vincent on four and Laura Kraut with Goldwin (Emerald) on five.
