After yesterday's Nations Cup, there is a slightly quieter day on the program today for the CSI5* riders. The main event of the day had just been held: the RWE Prize of North Rhine-Westphalia. Only three combinations managed to keep the zero in the basic course. A jump-off with only three riders had to decide the winner. In that jump-off showed the Frenchman Nicolas Delmotte in the saddle of Urvoso du Roch (v. Nervoso) the fastest. The duo left the wood untouched and clocked off in 45.03 seconds.

Scott Brash and Hello Jefferson took home second place. They recorded a clear round behind their name and clocked off in 45.81 seconds. Germany's Jana Wargers rode Limbridge (by Limbus) to third place. The duo left all the rails in the racks and stopped the chrono after 47.03 seconds.
Kevin Jochems finished just outside the top three in fourth place. He and Emmerton (by Silvio I) did leave all the beams in place in the basic course, but unfortunately they did not reach the permitted time which earned them a point for time. Luiz Felipe de Azevedo Filho and Hermes van de Vrombautshoeve (by Vigo D'Arsouilles) completed the top five.
