Klaphake and Baackmann both had a time of 37.17 seconds. Klaphake came into the arena with Camalita (by Cracker Jack) and Baackmann rode Aglaia J (by Arpeggio). The third place was for Carsten-Otto Nagel with L'Esperance 2 (by Lord Z) in a time of 38.87 seconds. 

The top five was completed by Hans-Thorben Rüder with under the saddle Singu (by Singulord Joter) and a time of 39.09 seconds and Ludger Beerbaum in a time 39.34 seconds with Quirina Louis (by Companiero).
