Ludger Beerbaum expressed his satisfaction with the outstanding success of the event; an event where the great atmosphere, the great sport, the selective courses as required at a championship meant that all the horses jumped well and there was in fact a very small difference in penalty points between those who qualified for the final.

Everything went perfectly thanks to the excellent work of all involved and the entire staff. Even the beautiful weather cooperated, allowing the audience to watch from the stands around the arena. Tickets were in high demand, but Covid rules limited entry to 3,250 people, in addition to the competitors and staff.
