Henk Nooren: "Most important thing is that riders are not losing their morale right now"

Henk Nooren, former Dutch top rider and coach of the French team, is at home in Belgium right now because of the COVID-19 outbreak. He told the team of Grand Prix that he thinks it's important that riders don't loose their morale right now.

"We must not forget that professional riders are usually on the road all the time, traveling from competition to competition. Since it's very clear that no big competitions or shows will be happening the next couple of weeks or months, it is very important that riders don't loose their morale. You must not underestimate the impact this has. Of course staying and home is for a good cause but this is something we have to take in consideration. I also try to stay in contact because of this with my students. I try to keep them motivated from a distance and help them as good as I can".
