The continuation of the Olympic Games in 2021 does not only depend on finding a vaccine against the coronavirus in time, according to the International Olympic Committee.
"We already have an agreement with WHO that we will continue with the preparations. It would of course help if there would be a vaccine, but there are several options that can lead to a solution. We have different scenarios in mind, but the health remains natural highest priority", the IOC says.
