Yesterday was announced a total of ten horses died because of the EHV-1 outbreak in Valencia. Today another horse lost his battle against the virus. Rider Thomas Ryan announced the news on his social media. "Smokey has lost his battle against EHV-1."
His horse was treated by the CEU University in Valencia and Pferde kliniek Niederlenz. "The only thing that can give us comfort now is knowing he is finally pain free."
