The French rider Patrice Delaveau was able to beat the home riders Thierry Goffinet and Jos Verlooy on their home ground in Knokke during the CSI3* 1,45m.

Delaveau proved his superiority with eleven-year-old Uraeus Blanc HDC, a stallion by Nabab de Reve, in 29,82 seconds. Goffinet quickly followed with Eyecatcher (Emilion) in 30,59 seconds, Jos Verlooy and Jacobien Dwerse Hagen (Va-Vite) sped to the bronze position in 32,15 seconds.
The other French riders also did well. Delphine Perez took the fourth place with Qurack de Falaise HDC (Jarnac), Felicie Bertrand jumped Urano de Cartigny (Diamant de Semilly) to the fifth place.
