It's Portuguese rider Joao Marquilhas aboard Glamour ES who took today's 1m45 qualifier in Abu Dhabi. With this nine year old KWPN bred son of Echo vant Spieveld he finished in 38.63 seconds.

With that time he beat the Whitaker family who took second and third place. In second place we found Michael Whitaker aboard Flinstering (Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve) with 38.83 seconds, while Jack Whitaker then followed in third place aboard Scenletha (Scendix) with 38.98 seconds.
Abdel Said and his Arpege du Ru (Apache d'Adriers) finished in fourth place, while naser Al Shawwal and Victor (Vanoverbeek) took home fifth place.
