Saïd in the lead in Longines Grand Prix qualifier Sharjah

Egypt's Abdel Saïd was the one to beat in the 1m50 Grand Prix Qualifier in Sharjah. In this Longines class against the clock he and his Arpege du Ru (Apache d'Adriers) finished in 56.06 seconds.

With that time he beats Christian Ahlmann and the nine year old oldenburg stallion Solid Gold Z (Stakkato Gold) with whom he finished in second place with 57.77 seconds. Irish rider Jack Ryan then took the third place with Essenar High Hopes in 58.09 seconds. 

Kristaps Neretnieks and Moon Ray finished in fourth place, before Abdullah Humaid Al Muhairi and Cha Cha Cha.
