The third individual competition of the GCL Super Cup over 1.50m brought again top sport of the highest level in Prague. Marlon Modolo Zanotelli managed to set the fastest jump-off time in the saddle of Like A Diamond van het Schaeck (Diamant de Semilly), and thus took away the gold and 15,000 euros.
Of the eighteen combinations at the start of the jump-off, eleven eventually succeeded in keeping a clean sheet. Of these, Zanotelli set the fastest round in 31.11 seconds with the BWP mare Like A Diamond van het Schaeck. The Czech duo Ales Opatrny and Forewer (Caruso 279), who won the opening class on Thursday, took silver. Third on the podium followed Hans-Dieter Dreher and the 10-year-old gray stallion Cous Cous (Cachas).
Daniel Deusser needed just four hundredths longer than his compatriot, and took fourth place with the 9-year-old Belgian Warmblood Narcos vd Smidshoeve (Toulon). McLain Ward closed the top five for America on the back of Contagious (Contagio).
