Tempo de Paban returns after severe injury

  • by Equnews Editorial
  • 10-12-2020

After the GCT final in Prague, several riders criticized the soil quality. Three horses are said to have been injured, including Tempo du Raban (by Jarnac) from Olivier Robert. The horse injured his leg after the landing. After a long rehabilitation, the gelding is now back at an international level.

At the time, Olivier Robert saw everything rather gloomy: "It seemed as if he landed on a concrete slab, which caused a severe injury in his leg. I thought it would never work out again. But the vets who treated him always have in him believed and thought he would be able to jump at top level again ".

In the meantime the gelding has competed again. Théo Guyonnet, stable rider with Robert, has meanwhile completed a few 1m40 laps with the gelding which he successfully completed. Robert himself will soon be in the saddle again.
