American rider Kent Farrington retains his lead, while Brazil's Stephan De Freitas Barcha makes the biggest jump forward entering the top 100 in position 76. Remarkably, the top four remains completely unchanged this month!
The top five in the latest FEI Longines Ranking has seen little change. Kent Farrington (USA) holds firmly onto the number one spot for the second consecutive month, following a long reign by Henrik von Eckermann that lasted over three years.
Olympic champion Ben Maher (GBR) continues to hold the number two position. Former world number one Henrik von Eckermann (SWE) remains third, just ahead of reigning Olympic champion Christian Kukuk (GER). The top five sees a fresh face with McLain Ward (USA) climbing from eighth to fifth place.
As a result, Swiss rider Steve Guerdat drops one spot to sixth, followed by fellow countryman Martin Fuchs (SUI), who also slips one place to seventh. Ireland’s Cian O’Connor strengthens his position in the top 10, moving up from tenth to eighth and overtaking Kevin Staut (FRA), who reclaims a place in the world’s top ten. German rider Richard Vogel closely follows.
