Casallo Z retires from competition

The Italian jumping rider, Piergiorgio Bucci, has announced his Grand Prix horse, Casallo Z, will be retiring from competition. The 16-year old Casall-son never returned to the highest level after an injury. The focus lies on breeding right now.

Maurice Hermans bred the stallion. With Bucci in the saddle, the stallion jumped at the Europeans in 2013. The combination also started at the final of the Nations Cup in 2014 and 2016.

The Italian rider and Casallo also jumped to the victory in the CSI5* Grand Prix of Estoril and the CSI4* Grand Prix of Poznan.
