Jan Tops can't build a French castle in the Dutch Valkenswaard

Jan Tops can not expand his equestrian centre in Valkenswaard with a hotel built in French style. The town wants all expansions to be made in the current architectural style.

It's no secret that Jan Tops want to expand his top sport arena and stable complex in Valkenswaard with a luxury hotel. The hotel with 50 chambers has to accommodate riders, trainers and clients from all over the world. The company of former jumping rider already applied a request in 2016.

Now the town of Valkenswaard has declared that extension is possible, if it's an extension of the equestrian centre itself. This also means that all architecture has to be the same as the equestrian centre, if not, extension is not allowed.
