Rik Hemeryck's Quarco de Kerambars passed away

The 20-year old sBs gelding, Quarco de Kerambars, has passed away. Quarco jumped at the highest level with the Belgian rider Rik Hemeryck. 



Carine Gagliani and the gelding were still active in the sport until last year. The gelding had the biggest successes with Hemeryck in the saddle. The combination jumped several CSI5* Grand Prix together. 

The Darco-son jumped the a ninth place in the World Cup final in Den Bosch in 2012. In 2011 they won the Grand Prix in Le Grand Palais in Paris.
