Zangersheide buys Holstein premium stallion 'Hanley Light'

Studfarm Zangersheide is gearing up for her stud season 2022 and in the autumn always treats her breeders to their new stars in the catalogue. After the arrival of the well-known HH Conrad Z, the second newcomer at the Belgian stud farm is the Holstein premium stallion Hanley Light.

Last weekend this son by Hanley was one of the flavours of the stallion inspection in Holstein and was rewarded with a premium. The handsome chestnut convinced the jury as well as the public with his mighty jumps, combining his unbelievable capacity with a fantastic technique!

‘Hanley Light convinced us from the word go. This stallion made a first impression that hugely reminded me of my favourite Comilfo Plus Z. He is exceptionally modern, has a perfect jumping technique and combines it with a strong take-off, demonstrating his capability!’ Judy Ann Melchior says. ‘Moreover, Hanley Light also comes from a strong dam line which is something we highly value when purchasing a breeding stallion. He has a brother (Canthus Jmen) who jumps at 1.60m and his granddam Paulin too jumped at 1.50m level under Juan Carlos Garcia!’

Hanley Light will be available for 2022 with fresh semen and an exceedingly interesting formula. Breeders who are going to use the stallion on their mares in 2022 only have to pay the stud service fees in 2023, after the birth of a live foal!
