Aston Martin’s ‘equestrian car’ for auction in US

Earlier this year 'Q by Aston Martin' designers at Gaydon were commissioned by our Los Gatos dealership in California to create a unique example of their talents for the Menlo Charity Horse Show in Los Gatos. The show takes place between 5-10 August, and is one of the finest professional/amateur equestrian events in the United States, renowned for its origin and legacy of philanthropy. The outstanding result of this bespoke commission is a beautiful, highly-customised DB9 Volante, crafted specifically with the discerning Equestrian lifestyle in mind. Bathed in an interior of Saddle Tan Luxmill leather from our Q Heritage palette, this is contrasted beautifully with Diamond quilted Ivory Alcantara on the seat inner. You'll also find an exquisite selection of finishing touches, such as authentic equestrian saddle leather rear storage, and unique horse logo embroidering on the front head restraints and rear console. The exceptional DB9 Volante will now be entered into the special charity auction at the Menlo Circus Club in Atherton, CA next week, with the winning bidder generating a $10,000 donation to MCHS, benefitting Vista Center for the Blind & Visually Impaired.  In 2013, the show raised $400,000 for the Vista Center.
