‘Big Bang Theory’ Star Kaley Cuoco Awarded Horsewoman Of The Year

Kaley Cuoco has earned her fair share of accolades throughout her acting career but “The Big Bang Theory” actress just received her most wild honor yet: Horsewoman of the Year. The 30-year-old actress was given this coveted award, which, of course, was in the shape of a horse, by the Humane Society for her “dedication to saving America’s horses from slaughter and cruelty.” Cuoco proudly showed off her bronze trophy on Instagram, thanking the animal protection organization for choosing her as their 2015 recipient. https://www.instagram.com/p/BBSiREtuWba/?taken-by=normancook “I will continue to raise awareness and do all I can to prevent horses from slaughter and abuse,” the animal-lover vowed in her caption. “Thank you so much!!!!” In April 2015, the equestrian teamed up with the Humane Society with the hopes of ending horse slaughtering, which Cuoco describes as a “barbaric” act and the “ultimate betrayal” of the unique bond humans have with their four-legged friends. “Throughout history, horses have loyally stood by us as our trusted companions. Please take action to end horse slaughter,” Cuoco says in the video.
