The Dutch brand, BR, has divided its new summer collection into 2 'sub collections'. The Passion and The Harmony, referring to the main 'mind states' a rider should get with the equestrian sports. Immediately the walnut-colored designs in the Passion collection attracted our attention. A special color that certainly puts a breach with the other brands that until now only presented strong and flashy colors. As well the riders as the horses wear is marked by the 'walnut' and its related colors such as black, beige and white. The jodhpurs for example combine this color scheme with a clever material use by implementing leather pieces at the backside and knee-area. At a first glimp this might be the summer collection that takes into account the nice European summer weather marked by low temperatures and heavy rains.
On the other hand the Harmony-collection is more suited for a nice warm shiny summer, characterized by a strong blue. However it is not the color that separates the Harmony from the Passion-collection. The difference is indicated by 3 white horizontal lines on the Harmony-collection's pieces. On the jodhpurs they are applied at the waste height while on jackets the lines can be found at the endings. Also the saddle pads and blankets have this indication, at our opinion, a nice touch that combines a functional signal with a stylish approach.
