This week the Spruce Meadows Masters attracts the top of the world, and gathers the complete Canadian Equestrian World. Although the weather is not as it should be, we had a look in how to dress to compete at Spruce, all Canadian style. Canada is red and white, and those will be the basic colours of our outfit. To start with we chose for a red riding jacket. The Belgian brand Winston Equestrian has a nice range of standardised jackets that look like custom made. Due to the high level of detail in fabrics and cut they give you a special look. Also our riding shirt is from Winston Equestrian. Again the option of fabric and detail for e.g. the buttons give it the necessary designer look. For the breeches we chose for our favorit. Knowing we opt for comfort and design... ending up with Equiline. Although this is more like a personal preference. It has not a necessary link with the outfit we combined. Though a perfect fit with Equiline is the French Samshield and Italian DeNiro Boots. The Samshield riding helmet is light, well insulated and one of the best protective helmets on the market. Add with it the almost perfect ventilation... and we have a winner. Further it comes in handy they also happen to produce nice looking leather riding gloves... The accessories are a bit... euhm ... over the top this week. With Gucci and Hermes we choose for the top designer brands in the (equestrian) world. The nice looking bracelet from Gucci fits with almost every outfit, as well as the classy belt of Hermes. As said, the weather is not as it should be... so we had a quick stop at ZARA to buy a neutral winter jacket... And what does this all cost? - Samshield helmet : $ 350 - Samshield gloves : $ 75 - DeNiro boots : $ 650 - Winston jacket : $ 340 - Winston shirt : $ 99 - Equiline breeches : $ 200 - Veredus bonnet : $ 50 - ZARA jacket : $ 95 - Hermes belt : $ 750 - Gucci Bracelet : $ 3,600
