Dream Alliance is without a doubt one of the more legendary horses. The horse gave commoners, kings, cowboys, ... the hope they were looking for. Born to “quite possibly the slowest racing mare in all of Wales” and owned by a syndicate of working-class, hard luck neighbors, Dream Alliance defied the odds and changed many lives. His story has hit the big screen in “Dark Horse: The Incredible True Story of Dream Alliance”, a film by Louise Osmond and Judith Dawson. If the trailer is any indication, this one is a do not miss. he film premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival to rave reviews, winning the Audience Award for Best Documentary. It will be released in the UK on April 17. A North American release date is still pending.
