Last week we gave some first tips for preparing your trip to the Las Vegas worldcup finals. With less than a month to go, time to check the schedule and what to do when in Vegas. Starting on April 15th until April 19th, the FEI worldcup finals classes only take in a part of the day... With a max. of 3 classes a day you'll have some free time to spend. Here are some fun things to do ...: It is obvious to go and visit the many hotels and casino's 'on the strip'. There is a 24/24h animation and activity. You will never get bored experiencing Las Vegas. If you still have a hang-over of the day before, just relax at the pool of your hotel. The sun, water and a good book will do the rest. Restaurants If you want a refined Italian experience, with a super service... there is only one address - the Tuscany Grill Restaurant. Located just outside Las Vegas, Eastern Ave, Ste.100, it is one of the best places we have been to. And yes the strawberry-cheesecake dessert is 'amazing'. When you're more in the 'BBQ-mood', just visit the Memphis-BBQ. The place has the soul of Mike Mills, the BBQ Champion, in it. Leisure There are many activities you can undertake in Las Vegas. You can rent a helicopter and fly around - even to the GRAND CANYON - but a must see is without a doubt the Red Rock Canyon park. This beautiful domain is open to the public from 9am to (about) 5pm. We admit it are not the Grand Canyons, but it is amazing, breathtaking and just worth the time to visit. Located nearby the strip it is the ideal location to arrange a short picnic with your friends or just to go for hike. Fun, touristic Are you in to some excitement? The Adventure Dome park offers you all you need. Conected to the Circus Circus hotel this park has all the possible coaster and other rides. Even more you can just go there to watch a movie or having a lazer BLAST ;). The Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical garden is for sure a must-see as well. Combine it with a show of Cirque du Soleil and you're just sold... even might forget you were in Vegas for the horse show. ... There is much, much, much to do in Vegas... we might say to much but here is a start for your World Cup Vegas experience ... on to part III .
