Conor Swail and Theo 160 prevail in Speed Derby of Dublin Horse Show

The first five star action of Thursday's program at the Dublin Horse Show, Ireland, unpacked in the CSIO5* 1m45 Speed Derby by Clayton Hotel Ballsbridge. Conor Swail took home the top honors in front of his home crowd aboard Theo 160

With the 12 years old offspring of Christian 25, Swail (IRL) stopped the clock at 81,18s, not touching a single pole on the way to the finish line. With the only 9 years old Parvati Aeg (Arezzo VDL), Francis Derwin (IRL) made second place his with his time of 81,74s. 

Julien Gonin (FRA) disturbed the all Irish top six and steered to third place with the Diamant de Semilly daughter, Estrella de La Batia, finishing in 82,48s. Michael Pender (IRL) grew wings on HHS Fortune, ticking off at 75,66S but two faults by the Catoki mare left their time on 83,66s which meant fourth place. The top five was concluded by Cian O'Connor (IRL) and Fox Chapel (Calvaro FC) who had a clear round in 85,02s.
