The German was the only one to dip under the time of 64 seconds, keeping two Swedes behind him. Henrik von Eckermann (SWE) concluded his clear ride on Calizi (Cellestial) in 64.87s and grabbed second place, ahead of compatriot Peder Fredricson (SWE) and the 18-year-old Catch Me Not S (Cardento) who posted a time of 65.38s.
Giulia Martinengo Marquet (ITa) inished fourth aboard Scuderia 1918 Calle Deluxe, clocking in at 65,57s with the gelding by Cesano. Jörne Sprehe (GER) concluded the top five with the Toulon offspring, Toys, crossing the finish line in 65,72s.
The initially fastest round came from Steve Guerdat (SUI). The European Champion brought Easy Star de Talma (Quick Star) to the finish in 63.07s but was credited with three seconds which brought them to 66.07s and thus meant sixth place. Olivier Perreau (FRA) had the sBs mare GL Events Dolce Deceuninck (Toulon, F. Geert Schoutteet) under the saddle and came in at seven with a total of 66.11s. Just like Guerdat, the Frenchman added three penalty seconds to his time.
