German dressage rider Beatrice Buchwald is looking for new challenges and will leave the stables of Isabell Werth after working there for four years. In 2017 Buchwald plans to start up her own business and will continue the close cooperation with her sponsor, the family Hödl. Starting as a rider for Johann Hinnemann back in 2008, Beatrice Buchwald moved to the Rheinland - area in Germany and met Manfred Hödl. Soon she was riding his stallion Lord Carnaby, the now 8-year old Lord Loxley - son that is still competing under Buchwald. In 2012 she moved to the stables of Isabell Werth and brought some of the horses with her; among them also Weihegold OLD. Together with Isabell Werth, the dark-bay mare participated at the Olympics and won the silver medal. Buchwald will stay close to the stables of Isabell Werth but will take several horses with her, among them definitely her Grand Prix - horse Daily Pleasure (by De Niro).
