Germany's Isabel Werth has claimed yet another Olympic Dressage Title. At the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games Werth won both the individual and teamgold. Exactly twenty years later, Werth is on her way to do it again. After the team gold medal, she is on her way to claim the gold individual medal as well. After a strong Grand Prix Special Werth impressed the judges with almost the maximum of the points. Aboard Weihegold Old she collected a total of 83.711%, it was a very thight ride against the 2012 London Olympic Champions, Charlotte Dujardin. Dujardin and Valegro concluded with 82.983%, finishing as runner-up. Dorothee Schneider and Showtime FRH completed the Grand Prix Special stage. Germany's third rider, Kristina Broring-Sprehe and Desperados FRH stranded in the fourth position with 81.401%. USA's Laura Graves finished fifth with Verdades (80.644%). The top 18 of the Grand Prix Special returns for Monday's Grand Prix Freestyle.
