The second Premier League competition of the season is now underway at Keysoe. Running until Sunday 30 April, the event packs in three full days of high class dressage from Advanced Medium to Grand Prix, plus classes for Pony riders and the exciting Shearwater and Hickstead Young Horse qualifiers. There are some super combinations who’ve made the trip to the Bedfordshire venue including Sophie Wells with C Fatal Attraction and Nikki Crisp with Durable, both fresh from victory at the NAF Five Star Winter Championships earlier this month. They'll contest the Inter I and Prix St Georges respectively. This afternoon’s Grand Prix has attracted Olympic team silver medallists Spencer Wilton and Supernova (pictured), and Olympic rider Emma Hindle with new ride Diesel XIII. World Class Podium Potential riders Alex Hardwick and Sarah Millis also feature. Tomorrow morning’s Inter I looks exciting. Becky Edwards, another rider on the World Class Podium Potential programme, is first to go, at 9am, with the gorgeous Ufano. Also featuring is BD Training Director Paul Hayler, Sophie Wells and a wealth of up and coming partnerships. And an extra attraction for tomorrow is the Freestyle classes, indoors from 5pm - 8pm.
